We believe the Bible is God's perfect and inspired word, guiding us in doctrine, teaching, and comfort. It has unchanging authority and is the only way to connect with God. We follow the apostles' teachings from the book of Acts. Our church focuses on bringing God’s presence through worship, uplifting preaching, and living a holy life together.
Repentance
Acts 2:38 - Repentance means turning away from sin and asking God for forgiveness. It's a heartfelt sorrow for sin and a decision to change direction in life, fully surrendering to God's will.
Water Baptism in Jesus' Name
Acts 2:38- Baptism is an essential step, done by immersion in water in the name of Jesus Christ. This symbolizes the burial of the old sinful nature and the new life found in Christ. It’s not just a ritual but a command for salvation.
Romans 6:4 - Baptism represents identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.
Receiving the Holy Spirit
Acts 2:4 - The Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues, is a gift from God. The Spirit empowers believers to live victoriously, guides them into all truth, and seals them as God's children.
John 14:17 - The Holy Spirit is the presence of God in us, teaching and empowering believers for godly living.
Living a Holy Life
1 Peter 1:16 - After receiving salvation, believers are called to live a life of holiness and obedience to God's Word. This involves living according to biblical principles, growing in faith, and being separated from sin and the world.
We believe that there is one God, who is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, all manifested in the person of Jesus Christ. This foundational truth shapes everything we believe and practice.
At our church, we believe that the Bible is the living, breathing Word of God. It is not just a historical book but a powerful and active guide for our lives today. Every verse is inspired by God and holds timeless truth, offering wisdom, direction, and correction. We hold the Bible as the final authority in all matters of faith and practice, believing that it has the power to transform lives and bring us into a deeper relationship with God.
